Registration for DuMeter.net service

When you register for DuMeter.net service, we collect personally identifying information from you. During registration you are asked to provide your name, email address and time zone. In addition, if you choose to sign into DuMeter.net using your Facebook or Google account, we may also collect additional information such as your Facebook or Google ID, email or user picture. We do not collect or store your third-party account password.

How is my personally identifiable information used?

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. We use 128-bit SSL encryption to protect your data while it is being sent over the Internet, and properly encrypt and secure all sensitive information on our database servers.

Your email address may be used to contact you by Hagel Technologies or its affiliated entities for the following reasons:

  1. Notifying you about changes in your account status.
  2. Notifying you about excessive Internet bandwidth utilization, if you set up DuMeter.net alert to warn you about such event.
  3. Answering your assistance requests, or asking for your feedback about our website.

How can I request deletion of all data associated with my account?

After logging in to dumeter.net, click on your name in the top right corner and select "your account", then click on "Change user settings" button to view the User Settings page. Click on "delete your account" link there, and all your data will be erased immediately from our servers. Please note that this action is irrevocable. If you are not able to log in to your account, contact our support for assistance.

Who does Hagel Technologies share information with?

We will not disclose your personally identifiable information to third parties except to the extent necessary to provide you with a requested product or service. We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.
